Due to Perform at Java Jazz Festival 2010... Diane Warren

Diane Warren is considered to be the most prolific and successful contemporary songwriter of our time. A quick glance at her list of Top 10 Hits reveals a range of musical genres and styles so diverse it's difficult to believe the songs could have come from the same person. Yet, they did; and they continue to endlessly pour forth from this songwriter, climbing to the top of the charts.

Since the beginning of her career, Warren has written for such notable artists as: Aerosmith, Elton John, Tina Turner, Barbra Streisand, Aretha Franklin, Patti LaBelle, Roberta Flack, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, and Roy Orbison. Recently, a diverse group of artists including: The Pussycat Dolls, Carrie Underwood, Pet Shop Boys, Mario, Joss Stone, Daniel Bedingfield, Christina Aguilera, Sugababes, Kid Rock, Enrique Iglesias, JoJo, Jessica Simpson, Ricky Martin, Faith Hill, Mary J. Blige, and LeAnn Rimes have recorded her songs, adding to the long list of chart toppers. Artists around the world record Warren's songs, and she has had simultaneous hits in virtually every market. Diane's songs are also featured in nearly 100 motion pictures. Diane continues to diversify. She wrote her first television theme for ENTERPRISE, which was also the first theme song for the STAR TREK series. A new version of "Rhythm Of The Night" was showcased in Baz Luhrmann's MOULIN ROUGE. PEARL HARBOR featured the Top Ten hit "There You'll Be" performed by Faith Hill. To date, Diane's songs have been nominated for 4 Golden Globes, 6 Academy Awards, and 9 GRAMMYs. She won a GRAMMY for "Because You Loved Me," sung by Celine Dion for the film UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL.

Diane has been named ASCAP's Songwriter of the Year six times, Billboard's Songwriter of the Year four times, and also received a coveted star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Diane was also inducted into the Songwriters’ Hall of Fame, once again taking her place among the greatest songwriters of all time. Diane is currently in the studio, working with stars such as Whitney Houston, Jennifer Hudson, and Lenny Kravitz, to name a few. Diane is deeply committed to protecting animals. Through THE DIANE WARREN FOUNDATION, she generously contributes to wonderful organizations that save and protect animals in need.
