Still Talking about....

.....Michael Paulo, Pauline Wilson and Maya Hasan's performance(s) at Moonlight House of Rhythm. We once mentioned that Maya Hasan would only be guest-starring for one day (August 6th 2008). Apparently, Michael Paulo and Maya Hasan enjoyed working with each other so much that they continued their collaboration until the last day of the string of performances (August 9th 2008). If you haven't heard (already), Michael Paulo is going to give a little something-something in Maya Hasan's upcoming album.

(Nita the Pianist, Michael Paulo, Pauline Wilson, Maya Hasan)

In one of his days performing at Moonlight Paulo said, "Hey, if you guys like what you hear in two songs we played together, you'll definitely love Maya's upcoming album. If you like what I play, better get the album when it comes out, because I'll be doing something there.."

Michael Paulo, Pauline Wilson & Maya Hasan @ Moonlight (6 August 2008)

The show last night was pretty awesome! Michael Paulo was walking on chairs and tables. Pauline Wilson's voice was just divine; Maya Hasan playing her harp was indeed a sight to behold.

Michael Paulo & Pauline Wilson @ Moonlight (6-9 August 2008)

For avid fans of Java Jazz Festival, Michael Paulo is a familiar name. He's been the festival's artist in residence for quite some time. He's one of the most respected saxophonists in the world, has released a number of acclaimed tracks and toured with the likes of Al Jarreau, Olletta Adams, Rick Braun, David Benoit and Jeff Lorber. So, no reason to doubt his skills. Pauline Wilson is the principal writer and lead singer of cult-fusion group, Seawind. Her voice is sultry, sexy and attractive (definitely something you really want to hear live). So far, she has released two albums, "Intuition" and "Tribute". *Interesting fact: Michael Paulo was featured in "Tribute"* These two musicians are actually old friends, this would not be the first time they'll be jamming (aside from the fact that Paulo was featured in Wilson's album).

Don't miss out on the opportunity to catch these two in action!!
