A native of The Bronx, New York, Rahsaan Patterson was named after 60’s jazz saxophonist Rahsaan Roland Kirk. Often, his style is likened to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Chaka Khan. In 1984, he was cast as “The Kid” in famed television show “Kids Incorporated”, where he appeared alongside Fergie, Mario Lopez and Shanice. In 1997, he released his self-titled debut album. Although the album received positive reviews from music critics, it did not succeed to capture a larger audience. In 1999, Patterson released sophomore album, “Love in Stereo”. Five years later, in 2004, he released third album “After Hours”. His latest album was released in 2007, it was titled “Wine & Spirits”.
*Rahsaan Patterson sang a duet with Grammy-winning songstress Ledisi titled “We are One”.
